Oh noes, it's broke :( The reviewers curse... I blame you Bruce Simpson !!
Now, I hold my hand up, I blown up lots of stuff before, and it's mainly been my fault. On this occasion, everything checked out, it was all working, and then it wasn't... between the working/not working there were no changes. However, I provide a few shots of betaflight here just in case someone says "well duh, you got the wrong doohickey there" Although I had already gone back to defaults and even tried PWM outputs (yuk)
So, I was starting to slightly fall in love with the concept. There's nothing to it, the ESC board is the size of a regular PDB except it had ESCs on it, and it provided 5/12v outputs with onboard inputs for RX, VTX, Camera... and it had a OSD... what's not to love !?
Ok the things not to love are the inability to flash it without substantial efforts, the lack of an FTDI port for the OSD setup, and the fact of course that it broke. More minor points were that I though the battery solder pads could do with a bit more room around them, and the fact it didn't support dshot.
Of course, I don't know how this flies - hopefully I'll be able to get a replacement board, but I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, some affiliate Gearbest links and things -
