The Diatone GT2 2017 model isn’t setup to send telemetry back to the transmitter, although it’s perfectly capable of it. It uses a Fury F3 flight controller which has got 3 UARTS and one of them can be configured to transmit telemetry data from the flight controller to the receiver - it just not wired up.
In this video I’ll show you how to wire up the flight controller and an FrSky XSR receiver so you can display your battery voltage and other useful data on your Taranis X9D. This same approach will also work with the Q7 transmitter and any other telemetry capable receiver and flight controller - you’ll just need to read the specs to decide what to wire up and how to configure it in Betaflight.
Remember if you’e using an XSR receiver you may need to update the firmware to fix the sensor refresh bug. You can download it here / It was a fix to improve the compatibility between the S.Port and F3 FC.
You’ll need to flash this firmware on your receiver. Just follow the steps in my other video that explains it in full detail.
And if you know what VFAS is an acronym for let me know in the comments.
