We’ve had a lot of sweet, killer heroes grace the silver screen in the last few years from John Wick and Lucy to Jason Bourne and Ethan Hunt, but these heroes are just palette cleaners as we prepare for the sensory onslaught that is the next James Bond film. 2012’s Skyfall marked a pretty spectacular return for Bond following the lackluster Quantum of Solace, but while many have praised Skyfall, they’ve also noted how it wasn’t fully a “Bond” film. It was just on the cusp of being a return to form and with Bond set to hit theaters next fall, we have a few suggestions of things we think need to happen to tip it over the edge into classic Bond territory.
