Lisa Gade reviews the Acer Aspire S7-392. This is the mid-2013 refresh of the S7 with 4th generation Intel Haswell CPUs inside and Intel HD 4400 graphics. The Aspire S7 is a high end 13.3" Ultrabook with a full HD IPS touch screen and a Gorilla Glass 2 lid. It's extremely thin and weighs just 2.87 pounds. The $1,499 list price base model runs on the 1.6GHz Intel Core i5-4200U with 8 gigs of RAM and a 128 gig SSD set up in RAID 0 for speed. The $1,699 has a 1,.8GHz Core i7-4500U, 8 gigs of RAM and a 256 gig SSD. You may find them cheaper than list price. And yes, battery life is much improved over the last gen S7!
