Ryan Maifield at NEO '12 - Onboard footage from RePlayXD camera
LiveRC and Ryan Maifield teamed up to get some unique footage at this year's NEO race in England! This footage was captured by mounting a RePlay XD camera to Ryan's Team Associated RC8.2 buggy during the "Dash for Cash" race. The result: footage from a pro driver's car in an actual race from a perspective never before seen! The RePlayXD is small enough to be mounted externally to an R/C car without being as invasive and clunky as other cameras. We simply taped the camera mount to the passenger side window!
While any camera is likely to be a bulky addition to a race car that is carefully weighted down to fraction of an ounce, the RePlay XD's weight and bulk was minimal enough for Ryan to still contend during the race!
