'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Cast Spotted In New York

Production continues on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in NYC and we're getting our first look at the turtles in action...well, sort of. Okay, so there weren't any big, green turtles running around the city, but we are getting our first look at the actors taking on the roles suited up in motion capture suits. The scene shows Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo and Jeremy Howard as Donatello being lead in shackles into an alley by a group of Foot soldiers. The suits are reminiscent of the ones spotted on the set of The Avengers for actors portraying Loki's Chitauri army. Absent from the scene is fourth member, Raphael, played by Alan Ritchson. Something tells us we'll see him show up at some point to save the day. We previously showed you footage of Megan Fox as Channel 6 reporter and friend of the turtles April O'Neil and revealed that Will Arnett would be playing her cameraman and rival, Vernon Fenwick. A new scene shows them in a confrontation, with Fox holding a box, suggesting we may see April lose her job. Perhaps her bosses don't appreciate reports about giant turtles living in the sewer? So much Turtle news today, but it doesn't stop there. What's a clan of Foot Soldiers without a leader and thanks to Deadline, we may now know who will be playing the evil Shredder in the film. William Fichtner has joined the cast in what is being described as an "iconic" role. Though his role has not been confirmed, considering the turtles, April O'Neil and Splinter have already been cast, we're thinking him playing Shredder is a pretty safe bet. This isn't the only tentpole movie for Fichtner, as he'll also be seen this summer in both The Lone Ranger and Elysium.
