FPV Goggle DVR Comparison | Eachine EV800D vs Fat Shark Dominator V3 | Simple Review

This is a simple side by side comparison of DVR performance between the Eachine EV800D & Fat Shark Dominator V3 FPV Goggles. I don’t go into any extreme detail. I simply talk a little about both goggles and then I night fly the amazing ImmersionRC Vortex 180 at the shut down Best Buy at Steelyards Commons in Cleveland Ohio.
When it comes to DVR footage, the Eachine truly outshines the Fat Sharks. The Eachine DVR recording is brighter, more colorful, sharper and it seems like the recording resolution is much better. I highly recommend the Fat Shark Dominator V3 goggles. But, after playing around with the Eachine EV800D’s, I can truly say they are amazing goggles that in some ways are better than the Dominator V3’s.
If you are new to FPV and you don’t want to spend big Buck$ on FPV goggles, the Eachine EV800D’s can perform head to head against the Dominator V3’s in almost all situations. Obviously, the Fat Sharks are lighter, more ergonomic and can accommodate various antenna diversity modules from different manufacturers. For many people, this is a deal breaker and they need the Fat Shark versatility. For many however, at 1/3 the price ($109), the Eachine EV800D’s are all they will ever need. You could buy 3 EV800D FPV goggles for the price of 1 Fat Shark Dominator V3 Bundle.
