If you fly long range, Turtle mode may save your quad in case you crash and end up upside down miles away or in inaccessible terrain.
Turtle mode (flip over after crash)
------------------------------------------------------
- in Betaflight 3.2 assign AUX channel under "Modes" tab to
"flip over after crash"
- assign relevant switch on your radio to same channel
- disarm after crash
- activate the "turtle mode" switch on the radio
- use roll/pitch stick to flip over in desired direction
- disarm and switch off "turtle mode" on radio
- arm again and you are ready to go
Buzzer tones
---------------------
in CLI set beeper_dshot_beacon_tone,
0 = no buzzer
1-5 = tones at different frequency
(1 is lower pitch tone, 4 is highest pitch)
(5 is same as 4 in BLheli_S, but low deep tone in BLheli32)
you can adjust Volume in BLheli configurator (depending on
what version of configurator you are running, it's called either
"Beacon Strength" or "Beacon/Signal Volume")
- default value 80 (range : off, 1-255)
- same strength/volume is used for lost model beacon so don't
set it too high or you may fry your motors or ESCs
Information correct as of BF3.2 RC6, Blheli_S 16.67, 16.63,
BLheli32 32.2
