In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew hears from Kevin Haughwout of the Brother Corporation – better known for making computer printers – about the WD-300c: it's latest generation of head-mounted display (HMD) for drone pilots. The WD-300c allows the user to maintain direct, visual line of sight (VLOS) with their aircraft while having immediate access to its video and telemetry downlinks. It incorporates a 720p high-definition (HD) video display, which can be focused to accommodate the eyesight of individual users – without the need for corrective lenses. The WD-300c incorporates a standard HDMI input, making it compatible with drones from different manufacturers, including DJI, Yuneec, Autel Robotics and others. It is powered through a micro-USB cable and is compatible with any cellphone charging battery pack. The kit includes mounting arms allowing it to be suspended over either the users right eye or left eye, depending on their preference. The WD-300c is IP54 rated, making it water and dust resistant. It will be available for purchase in November. is not the owner of this text/video/image/photo content, the real source of content is and user declared in this page publication as user, if you have any question about video removal, what was shared by open community, please contact directly or report bad/not working video links directly to video owner on Removed video from will also be removed from here.
