Daniel Ricciardo shows his skills in a Motorsport Simulators simulator during the Race of Champions promo event.
Racing with the simulator set to Formula 3 characteristics he spun out several times (as we all did) before setting the lap record for the day, beating Jason Plato among others.
It's fascinating to watch how smooth his movements are and how still he is on the straights - that's the key to making sure all the power is used in the most efficient manner.
The Race of Champions is an annual event that takes place a the London Olympic arena and brings together drivers from different racing disciplines and pits them against each other over the course of two days and a multitude of different car types.
Last year David Coulthard won it and this year he'll be up against the likes of Daniel Ricciardo, Nelson Piquet Jr and Sebastien Vettel.

Motorsport Simulators make a variety of F1 simulators that are even used by some of the F1 teams. They range from the more basic model such as this one that just has a motorised steering wheel (plus the three projectors, chassis, sound system and PC to control it all) to ones with full pneumatic body roll systems.
