This video shows the location, not replacement, of the EVAP valve. I searched a couple of times for the EVAP value (or "vent valve solenoid") on my 2005 Buick Terraza but had no success in locating it. The forums I read said it was near the back and probably between the wheel and the gas tank. I looked there and could not find it. Finally, I found the diagram at the end of this video which helped me locate it. I found it on my minivan and decided to help the next poor soul searching for it by showing where to find it.
If you are getting the PO449 error and have already replaced your gas cap, then this valve is probably the next thing you'll want to replace. These sell for about $40 at auto stores.
I was unable to find any other 2005 GM minivan videos showing where it was. Hopefully this video will come in handy for someone. I sure could have used it a couple of days ago.
