A category leading product, the AMD FirePro W8000 workstation video card delivers the very best in computational power and performance required in CAD/CAE and Media & Entertainment environments. It's based on the AMD's latest 28nm Graphics Core Next architecture and equipped with 4GB GDDR5 frame buffer, offering up to 4.5 times faster single precision compute performance and 1.5 times more memory bandwidth than competitive solutions. For 3D workloads, its GeometryBoost feature makes quick work of triangles, processing 1.8 billion per second, up to 1.5 times more than the competing product. Using AMD Eyefinity multi-display technology, the AMD FirePro W8000 can drive up to four native displays and up to six displays using DisplayPort 1.2. Along with advanced features such as error correcting code (ECC) memory and 806 GFLOPs of double precision floating point performance, the FirePro W8000 makes an ideal choice for HPC workflows.
