Mobius gimbal with skycrane system:
The footage I got is only from one battery as I had few problems... Skycrane's battery lasts not even one flight, 370mAh 3s is just not enough to power gimbal with Mobius. While system is swinging around freely, roll and pitch inertia is constantly changing and it's a nightmare to fly like this, just can't get use to it. If I'm making a turn the quad either doesn't want to turn, or turns too sharp, or rate changes half way through the turn. As lens is closer to the quad that in previous video, it does not focus the quad. With all combined- I can't get the gimbal further away to focus the quad as well because I'll need a bigger battery to balance skycrane system. I do actually need a bigger battery to power Mobius with gimbal and this quad is more than capable to carry extra weight (the setup is from my speed record of 163km/h), but I'm afraid do to constantly changing inertia I won't be able to control it at all.
In part 3 (I mean Episode 3 :) I'll rebuild skycrane with gimbal to have them fixed at certain angles and with lens further away. This way I'll have a fixed rate and inertia for pitch and roll and the Force will be with me again!!! :)
