I went out on a trail run today with some awesome RC gear heads! These guys know how to have a good time, and it was a pleasure to tag along. All of us are from Alberta, a province of Canada - and are used to this type of weather. It's what we have grown up in! There are so many amazing trails and places to hike. Today I am in Kananaskis Country, a natural forest area in our province. A group of awesome RC truckers and I gave it a good two hour hike today, up and down the mountain side, and we end up at a free flowing creek! What a lot of fun and smiles were had by all. Best part is, no damage to the environment! haha :) Small Scale RC is A lot of Good Times, I hope you are inspired to try it out too!
Some of the models of trucks in this film are:
Capo Ace1
RC4WD Trail Finder 2
Axial Bomber
Axial Wraith
Axial SCX10 ii
Vaterra Ascender
G-Made Komodo
All of these are 1/10th scale trail trucks and are electric. Most (if not all) of these trucks are modified and custom built for speed, power, agility and capability. Trail trucks are not usually intended or built by manufacturers that can endure winter temps and snow - but a hobby enthusiast can always make their trucks TRAiL READY! Most of the trucks featured in this film are valued at approximately $800-$1200.
A special thanks to the great group of guys that let me go along on with the camera to take shots of their rigs for everyone to see!
