What I see through my goggles when flying FPV (what it looks like to the drone racing pilot)

Please help us to find bad videos. Broken or unappropriated video content?
My Dominator V2 goggles have a built in DVR, so you can capture what the pilot actually sees when flying FPV. It's not the crisp, clear video you are used to when watching FPV vids - that comes from an action cam like Runcam or GoPro. (Yes, we usually fly with 2 cameras on our drones)
At this early stage of FPV drone racing & freestyle, I found that some of my friends thought I was seeing the 1080p/60fps HD quality video that you post on YouTube - I wish - this video is what we are up against at this stage of the game. We need low latency, and we need all of the parts to be super small, light weight, and cost close to nothing - thus 5.8 GHz analog.
I sure hope there is a low latency digital standard on the horizon that will eliminate all of the "video stomping" that we all know plagues the meetups & races. For now, you have to clean your power, get a solid vtx (please post your opinion of the VERY BEST vtx in the comments, I currently use a 200mw TS5823 &/or FT952, but looking hard at the RMRC Cricket 200mw) and get a brilliant ground station (the Big Whoop guys seem to have this almost solved) and then you don't have to light another $1k on fire for another few weeks.
