We decided to try something different this time. We had a decent sized motor laying around and a ton of pink foam, and created a large Zenith 701 inspired design that we dubbed the "Pink Panther". We managed to have three straight controllable flights, which was a success in our book. We aren't done, however. If it wasn't obvious enough, the main flaw in the ship is not drag (although it is a huge part of it), but it's mainly thrust. We are going to get a much larger motor, closer to 2000-2500 watts on 8-10s, and try it again in a couple weeks. Stay tuned! Thanks to Tracy for the great in-flight photo!
