Alaska90: giant homemade 3D printer

Video Channel
Please help us to find bad videos. Broken or unappropriated video content?
Alaska90 is my open source 3D printer design with a build volume over 500mm on each side, and able to print objects several feet across. It's derived from the Mendel90, and is mostly just plywood with a few 3D printed brackets to hold the steppers and linear rods in place, so it cost under $500 in materials.
You can download the printer design files, which are open source hardware, from my github:
This version shows a 12 inch by 18 inch glass build plate, but I have a full 24 inch by 24 inch heated aluminum base and glass or PEI build plate ready to install!
