14:43 - That other whoop thing
16:12 - Good Solder!
I don't recommend the Mobula 7 because the Eachine Trashcan is just around the corner and has upgraded motors, a sturdier frame, an F4 chip and an upgraded camera for the SAME PRICE as the Mobula 7. Check it:
At this point, the TinyHawk has far superior flight quality thanks to the better weight distribution and F4 chip on board.
Mobula 7:
A batt option for 2S use:
Alternate frame option:
Apparently the Beta frame will need some spacers or long M2 screws to fit the FC board and the Inductrix BL is a better option and even more durable.
TinyHawk: ,
Battery options: ,
Tuning these little things isn't so complicated. Start from default and set the D's to 45 and add at least 50% more P. The tuning window with the new BetaFlight is so wide you can just guess numbers in the general range I recommended and land on a pretty good tune.
The props I'm waiting on for that open frame thing:
Some have offered to send me some...I'll wait, it's alright. I appreciate it however. I'm not expecting this thing to be so great.
The good shit solder:
TS100 iron: , ,
Literally the worsts solder I've ever used:
They've sold over 28,000 of these. All those poor people with shtty solder joints :(
FXT T80 cam that did actually fit in the TinyHawk:
Little hot glue used...sorry if you're allergic to hot glue.
ND Filters:
Or just look up TBS Jello Guard...
These videos are probably gonna be more useful than any product link: ,
My TinyHawk tune:
First off, set your landing/warning voltage to 2.9v and your warning voltage to 3.2v. This is a non-issue with 1S as you can't really pull enough amps on this thing to actually damage the battery much.
Make sure it's set to 8k/8k and I recommend Multishot with min throttle at 1175
Roll and Pitch are the same numbers: P 80, I 55, D 46 FF 45, RC Rate 1.32, rest default
Yaw: P 60, I 60, D 0, FF 45, RC Rate 1.32, rest default
Iterm relax on and on defaults, the other three switches above it off.
Equipment I highly recommend:
Micro Eagle -
Rush Tank Vtx -
Fantastic solder-
TS100 iron -
WaFL’s Cap Cap
