(7/7) How to setup and trim auto-level on a Multiwii board

Video Channel

One of the most popular videos on the channel is the demo of how you configure auto-level on a KK2.0 multi-copter board. There is a similar process to trim the MultiWii board.
Things to ensure:
• The board is level
• The accelerometers have been calibrated while the model is level
• You have the auto-level and acro modes configured on the transmitter and board
• You have the throttle reading above 1900ms (confirm using MultiwiiConf)
Process:
With the above in place --
• Fly the model in ACRO mode (i.e. not in auto-level)
• Trim for level flight using the normal trims on the radio
• Click into auto-level
• Note the drift direction
• Click back into ACRO mode and land
• Disarm the motors (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!)
• Push the throttle to maximum
• Push the right stick in the direction of the correction needed and return it to the centre (one movement counts as one 'click' of correction)
• Fly the model again and adjust as needed to have level flight in auto-level
I hope this provides useful to those of you that have auto-level that is pulling/drifting. Thanks for watching.

Happy flying!
