This is the story of two fawns - one impala, resident in the southern acacia forests and the other a Thompson's gazelle, soon to be joining the huge wildebeest and zebra migration that can number up to 1.5 million animals.
The documentary charts their different journeys and the struggles they face but their stories are united in the strength of their mother's love and their evolving instinct to survive the many hazards presented by their beautiful but harsh surroundings.
